Aanimal Wonders - A great pet store in San Marcos, Texas. Aaron, who runs the place, really knows his pets and pet supplies. He helped me with an excellent shampoo for my itchy dog. No, it's not a misspelling. AAron named it AAnimal Wonders with 2 A's because of the 2 A's in his first name.
Broken Arrow Rock Shop - Friends of ours in Wimberley. They have a beautiful selection of all kinds of rocks. I've shopped there for gifts. Really nice folks.
Campus Guide of San Marcos - Steve does a great job with his Campus Guide. It's free and it has all the happenings at Texas State University and around San Marcos.
Comal Tackle - Friends of ours just to the north in Buda. Clyde and Robert have done an amazing job. I have as much fun as the school kids who take regular tours of their factory watching the little fishing floats bounce down the assembly lines.
Cornucopia - An excellent source of natural foods right here in San Marcos. They're across the street from the big HEB next to the Chinese restaurant.
Dean's Shop - Walter has done work on our airconditioning. They do excellent work at a reasonable price.
Gulf Business Forms - I've taken the tour of their facilities here in San Marcos. Very well run.
Little Shoppe of Health - A neighbor of ours in San Marcos, Texas. Kathy has a very knowledgable group of folks working for her. I love the name of her store as well as the big selection of natural health products. They're in the center across from Kinko's.
Rescare Premier - San Marcos folks that do important work for people with brain injuries. Brian, a friend of mine, is a graduate. He's got the best jokes in town and is a wiz at sports triva. Brian, thanks for attending my kids basketball games over the last 10 years!
San Marcos River Foundation - Friends of ours that do a great job of taking care of our San Marcos River.
Tropical Sno - Scott's "The Sno Cone Dude" place in Wimberley. He really does have the best I've ever tasted. When my kids were younger, we tried probably 30 different shaved ice places. Scott's was by far the best. Light and fluffy, Yum!
VFW Post 3413 - Friends of ours that do important work here in San Marcos. They support the Boy and Girl Scouts and so do we.
Windmill Townhomes and Duplexes - Neighbors here in San Marcos. Charley really does a great job of maintaining all their duplexes and apartments.
Wonder World Park - Another neighbor of ours in San Marcos, Texas. Buddy's got a really neat earthquake formed cave. I've been there and it's much bigger than you would expect. I would have loved to have been a part of the card games that went on down there back before it became a park.
Wonderland School - Another neighbor in San Marcos, Texas. We're close enough that we can hear the kids playing from the back corner of our lot. My niece attended school there and my sister-in-law taught there. Jim does a quality job.
